Julianne Donaldson is an up and coming author of regency books along the lines of Jane Austen."Blackmoore" is the first book I have read by Julianne Donaldson,but after reading this one I am eager to go back and read her first book "Edenbrooke".

I think Mrs. Donaldson does a delightful job of writing about the regency era without trying to rip /5. While both books capture perfectly the romantic tension between characters one is full of hope and the other of dispair. Even when Blackmoore resolves, adding a ray of sunshine to our bleak landscape, it is not enough to erase the tears streaks from previous chapters.

That said, I would still recommend this book/5(). The Blackmoor expansion was published by TSR, Inc. in as a sixty-page digest-sized book. It has additional rules, monsters, treasure, and the first role-playing game adventure ever published, The Temple of the Frog.
